Overview
Parallel Lives is a branded narrative short created as a conceptual campaign for Apple, demonstrating how cinematic storytelling can merge seamlessly with product-focused filmmaking.
Shot entirely on an iPhone, the film follows two individuals living separate lives whose parallel experiences gradually reveal unexpected emotional connections. The project emphasizes visual storytelling over dialogue while showcasing the creative possibilities of mobile filmmaking.
Creative Vision
Rather than treating the phone as the subject, I approached it as an invisible creative tool. The objective was to create an emotionally engaging film that naturally demonstrated the camera's capabilities without allowing the technology to overshadow the story itself.
The project challenged me to think creatively within technical limitations while reinforcing my belief that compelling storytelling is always more important than the equipment used to capture it.
